IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Allen Kendall
Loughead
September 10, 1969 – November 14, 2025
Welcome to the story of Allen Kendall Loughead's life. A life that ended way too soon. Allen was a devoted father, skilled craftsman, beloved brother, caring and supportive friend whose warmth and humor touched everyone who knew him.
Allen was born on September 10, 1969, in Fort Atkinson, WI. Allen lived most of his life in or near Two Rivers, WI. Sadly, Allen passed away on November 14, 2025.
Allen was an extraordinary father to his children, Carly and Spencer. He was endlessly proud of them, and his love shaped their lives in countless ways. Additionally, Allen shared many meaningful years with his ex-wife, Betsy, and together they built a loving family that remained a central part of his life.
Spencer, 18, recently completed boot camp and is now training as a military police officer for the Army Reserves —an accomplishment Allen celebrated with immense pride. Carly, 14, held a special place in his heart as well. One of Allen's favorite dad moments was teaching Carly to ride her bike. No matter how many times it took, Allen encouraged her to get back on and try. Allen also attended Carly and Spencer's many sporting and school events whether it was football, volleyball, or music concerts. Allen was in the stands cheering them on or in the auditorium seats quietly supporting them through each note they played. He was their greatest champion.
Blessed with a quick wit and a great sense of humor, Allen had a remarkable ability to bring joy to any room. He was known for his contagious laugh and sense of humor. Allen had a unique way of finding humor in everyday events. His laughter was easy, his kindness steady, and his presence comforting. He cared deeply for his siblings, always offering a listening ear, thoughtful guidance, and the type of unwavering support. As siblings, we knew we could always count on Allen to help with anything we needed whether it was a listening ear, a warm hug, or to fix something - he was always there.
Allen was also a talented woodworker whose craftsmanship reflected both his skill, dedication to detail, and his generous spirit. He created beautiful furniture for his family's home and meaningful, hand-crafted gifts for those he loved. Each piece he made stands as a lasting reminder of his patience, creativity, and heart.
Another testimony to Allen's heart and dedication happened when he was 21 years old. Allen joined the U.S. Navy, specifically, the Seabees. This branch of the Navy's motto is "We Build, We Fight," The most fitting branch of service that represents the essence of Allen. He could use his talents as a craftsman to provide construction and support for military operations during the First Gulf War. As such, Allen served in the U.S. Navy from 1990 - 1994 earning him status as a U.S. Veteran.
Allen carried his talents as a craftsman into his work life. Allen became a Sheet Metal Journeyman working for Crafts Inc. for almost 25 years. Allen found great rewards working for Crafts. He took great pride in his work, and it showed in each job he completed.
And, finally, when looking at the story of Allen's life, one cannot overlook his love of the Green Bay Packers. Allen never missed a game. He attended many of them in person and when he wasn't in the stands, he was coaching from the couch. No matter who the Packer's official coach was, Allen always had ideas about how plays could have gone better. No doubt, the Green and Gold will miss Allen's advice.
Though Allen's life ended far too soon, his legacy-in his children, his relationships, and the work and skill of his own hands—will continue to be felt and cherished always.
