Ann Marie Kakuk

Ann M. Kakuk, a resident of Manitowoc, died Thursday, May 11, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.
Ann was born on August 24, 1961, in Two Rivers, a daughter of the late Richard and JoAnn (Koch) Ploeckelman. She attended Mishicot Public Schools. She married Marc Kakuk. Ann was employed as security guard at Menard’s for several years before retiring because of health concerns. She enjoyed crafting, needlepoint, darts, cooking & baking, listening to music, reading and teaching her grandkids how to cook.
Survivors include her daughter: Kelly (Steven) Holt of Manitowoc; six grandkids: Cameran, Zack, Sarah, Tiffany, Kimberly and Katherine; Phillip (Melissa) Ploeckelman of Fort Worth, Tx., Patrick Cavanaugh of Biloxi, Miss. and Mary Ploeckelman of Arlington, Tx.; along with other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother: Paul Ploeckelman.
A memorial visitation will be held at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, on Friday, May 19, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
