Arlene M. Kolarik, age 85, longtime resident of Two Rivers, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, May 14, 2026 at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc.
Arlene was born in Kewaunee, WI on December 9, 1940 to Raymond and Gladys (Lukes) Bauer, Sr. She graduated from Kewaunee High School with the class of 1958. On September 30, 1961 she married Joseph A. Kolarik at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Norman. Joe preceded her in death on September 10, 2014.
Arlene was employed for many years at Mirro Aluminum Corporation until her retirement. She loved playing cards, especially sheepshead; and enjoyed all Wisconsin Sports, especially watching the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers. She enjoyed gardening, and going out for lunch with her former co-workers from Mirro. Arlene was also a longtime member of the Two Rivers Senior Center.
She is survived by her son, Mike Kolarik of Fitchburg, WI; son-in-law, Peter (Tara) Shambeau of Two Rivers; and one brother, Ray (Ann) Bauer, Jr. of Kewaunee. She is further survived by two brothers-in-law: Peter Schoepp, Sr. of Two Rivers, and Fred Kolarik of Arizona; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Gladys Bauer, Sr.; her husband, Joe Kolarik; her daughter, Michele Shambeau; one sister, Phyllis Schoepp; father & mother-in-law, Joseph and Anna Kolarik; and two brothers-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd. Two Rivers. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Pleier, with entombment to follow in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church Wednesday morning from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.
