Obituary

Elizabeth M. "Bettie" Myers, age 97, longtime Two Rivers resident, passed away Friday morning, December 5, 2025 with her loving family at her side at New Day Assisted Living of Manitowoc.

Bettie was born in Two Rivers on July 16, 1928 to Ben and Martha (Waier) Domenoski. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and graduated with the class of 1945 from Washington High School, Two Rivers. On August 4, 1951 she married James A. Myers at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Two Rivers. The couple was blessed with 70 years of marriage before Jim passed on June 3rd, 2022. When returning to the Lakeshore, Bettie as a member of Manitowoc/Two Rivers YMCA shared her enthusiasm for healthy living and fitness. Bettie was a certified Bonnie Prudden Myotherapist. She and her business partner owned & operated "Aires to You Balloon Boutique" in downtown Two Rivers for many years. Bettie and her husband enjoyed participating at the Two Rivers Senior Center, and enjoyed spending winter months in Florida for many years.

Survivors include her children: Terre Myers of Manitowoc, Tim and Karen Myers of Two Rivers, Deb and Tom Keil of Manitowoc, and D.J. and Jody Myers of Two Rivers; six grandchildren: Cory (Jackie) Myers, Kristy (Russell) Hess, Emily Keil, Hannah (Aaron) Lang, Dalten Myers, Claire Myers; along with three great-grandchildren: Abby Myers, Seth Myers, and Graham Lang. She is further survived by two sisters-in-law: Judi Walters and Lee Myers, of Fond du Lac; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Myers; two brothers: Ben (Grace) Domenoski, Carl (Pat) Domenoski; father & mother-in-law, Alvin and Ada Myers; and many brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law of the Myers family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd. Two Rivers. Rev. Dave Pleier will officiate at the memorial mass, assisted by Deacon Mike Valenta.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church Thursday morning from 9:00 until 10:45 a.m. There will be no Wednesday evening visitation.

The funeral service will be live streamed on the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church website or St. Peter the Fisherman Facebook page.

Special thanks also to the caregivers of Sharon Richardson Hospice, Deacon Mike Valenta, and Mom's wonderful hairdresser, Vicki. The kindness extended is greatly appreciated by our entire family.
