Bonnie S. Wichlacz, age 85, lifelong resident of Two Rivers, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, December 30, 2025 at Complete Care of Manitowoc.
Bonnie was born in Two Rivers on October 4, 1940 to Al (A.E.) and Agnes (Schmeichel) Bocher. She graduated with the class of 1958 from Washington High School then furthered her education at the Manitowoc County Teachers' College (class of 61) and Holy Family College (class of 63). Bonnie served as a full-time teacher, substitute teacher, and volunteer in the Two Rivers Public School District from 1963 until her retirement from full-time teaching on June 11, 2004. She was united in marriage to Patrick J. Wichlacz on July 9, 1966. The couple was blessed with two children and 59 years of marriage.
Bonnie was a longtime member of Grace Congregational United Church of Christ where she volunteered in the education program and served as a clerk and bookkeeper for the Safe Sanctuary Program for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Pat Wichlacz; her daughter, Jorie Windus of Manitowoc; son & daughter-in-law, Todd (Kristy) Wichlacz of Mishicot; and two grandsons: Ty Wichlacz (special friend, Olivia) and Dylan Wichlacz (special friend, Kelsey). She is further survived by one sister & brother-in-law, Beryl (John) Mulhern of Glendale, WI; sisters-in-law: Ann (Ed) Plansky of Two Rivers, Sue Kaufmann of Watertown, WI; nieces: Kaela (Jim) Buraczewski, and Kathy Brown; nephews: Rob (Ann) Barbier, Chris (Jackie) Kaufmann, Josh (Kari) Kaufmann; along with a great niece and a great nephew: Julia and Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.E. and Agnes Bocher; her brother, Wm. (Bill) Bocher; father-in-law & mother-in-law, George and Bernice Wichlacz; two brothers-in-law: Ron Kaufmann and Jim Wichlacz; and a nephew, Wayde Mulhern.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2026 at Grace Congregational United Church of Christ, 2801 Garfield Street, Two Rivers. Rev. Mark Schmitt will preside at the service, with burial in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Grace Congregational Church, Friday morning from 9:00 until 10:45 a.m. There will be no Thursday evening visitation.

Bonnie's family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Glen Smith; the chemo and radiation nurses, medical technicians, therapists and receptionists at the Aurora Two Rivers Clinic and the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic; the caregivers of Aurora Hospice, and the staff at Complete Care of Manitowoc for being so kind, caring, thoughtful and compassionate. Bonnie would especially like to thank her family members; her family of Grace Church; close friends from out-of-town, and dear friends in the Blue Heron Condo Association for all the love and support throughout her final journey.
