Obituary

Clifford J. Beaupre, age 100, longtime resident of Manitowoc, Lake Placid, FL, and Sturgeon Bay, WI, passed away Tuesday morning, February 24, 2026 at St. Mary's Home at Felician Village in Manitowoc.

Cliff was born in Manitowoc on March 9, 1925 to Clifford J. and Minnie P. (Traurig) Beaupre. He was a 1943 graduate of Lincoln High School in Manitowoc, then went on to serve his country for 3 1/2 years as a member of the United States Coast Guard during World War II. Cliff was united in marriage to Elizabeth J. "Betty" Kiel on April 5, 1945 at First Reformed United Church of Christ in Manitowoc. Betty preceded him in death February 15, 2016.

Cliff owned & operated the family business, Beaupre & Son Builders of Manitowoc for over 35 years. After retiring, Cliff and Betty spent 35 years between Florida and Door County, WI where they made many life-long friends. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, sharing much time making memories with his two sons, Bill and Dan. Cliff also enjoyed spending many hours fishing with his grandsons, Chad, Kevin, and Brett.

Survivors include his children: Dagmar (Jim) Harrison, Dr. William Beaupre (Christine Lehman), Pennae (Scott) Fawcett; and daughter-in-law, Sara Beaupre. He is further survived by his granchildren: Brett Beaupre (girlfriend, Amber Lizotte), Chad (Mandy) Fawcett, Kevin (Jill) Fawcett, and Darby Harrison; four great-grandchildren: Trey, Isla, Luke, and Ellie; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dr. Dan Beaupre; and his beautiful grandson, Cooper James Beaupre.

A private celebration of life will be held with family at a later date.
