Dale was born in Two Rivers on December 27, 1931, to Bill and Cora Schultz. He attended St. John’s Lutheran Grade School and graduated with the class of 1951 from Washington High School. He was drafted into the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict, serving two years of military service until his honorable discharge. On June 30, 1956, he was united in marriage to Jacqueline Jobelius at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Two Rivers. The couple was blessed with three children. Jackie preceded him in death on September 1, 2018.
After earning his Master Plumber license, Dale, along with his brother-in-law, Leonard Ernst owned & operated E & S Plumbing, Heating, and Electrical for many years. He was very proud of his years of military service and remained an active member of VFW Post #1248 of Two Rivers and the Honor Guard Unit. Dale was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church; past member of West Shore Sportsman’s Club; and had a lifetime love for hunting, fishing, and shooting.
Dale is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2026, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3607 45th Street, Two Rivers. Rev. John Berg will preside at the service, with military graveside honors immediately following at the church by members of American Legion Post #165 and VFW Post #1248 of Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Saturday morning, September 12th from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. There will be no Friday evening visitation.
