Eileen Mary Charles nee Bussiere, aged 75, of Two Rivers, died peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2026 after several years of declining health and memory.

Eileen was born August 23, 1950 in the town of Flintville, WI to Dorothy and Harold Bussiere, the third of four children.

She graduated from Bay Port High School, Class of 1968 before pursuing work. Shortly thereafter, she met Kenneth W. Charles. They were married on May 19, 1973, at Sts. Edward and Isadore Catholic Church, Flintville, WI. She later went on to get her bachelor’s degree in business administration at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay, Class of 1988. She worked in real estate as well as human resources for several companies through her career including Two Rivers Public School District, Pick n’ Save and Schneider National. Throughout her career, she enjoyed volunteering for schools to help students learn to read.

Her interests and passions included reading and watching mysteries, gardening, walking her Yorkies, downhill skiing, traveling, socializing with friends, and spending time with her beloved sons. She loved trying out a new supper club on the weekend and enjoying a brandy sweet old fashioned (with an olive garnish).

She is survived by her son David Kenneth Charles and daughter-in-law, Erin Buchanan (Milwaukee); daughter-in-law Jenny Charles (Green Bay), and her children, Sydney and Alois Charles (Green Bay); one living sister, Cathy Gilmet (Green Bay). She was very fortunate to have many surviving friends and family, including aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who she cherished. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Harold Bussiere; parents-in-law Willard and Betty Charles; her husband, Kenneth Willard Charles; son Michael Paul Charles; granddaughter Sophia Charles; sister Patricia Pamperin and brother-in-law Richard Pamperin; brother James “Buzz” Bussiere.

Relatives and friends may call at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th Street, Two Rivers, WI 54241 from 9:00 a.m. until the end of funeral services. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 20th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation continuing after the service until 12 o’clock noon. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
