Obituary

Glenness H. Mueller, age 93, former resident of Two Rivers, died Tuesday morning, January 27, 2026 at the Felician Village in Manitowoc.

Glenness was born in Two Rivers on March 4, 1932 to Louis and Alma (Cornils) Habeck and was a graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers. Glenness married Don Pelnar who preceded her in death in 1982. She then married Robert A. Mueller on November 15, 1985. Over the years, Glenness worked for Schwartz Mfg. and in the offices of Paragon Electric Company in Two Rivers. She later was co-owner/operator of Jabot Boutique of Manitowoc for many years. Glenness enjoyed traveling, reading, cooking, and time spent with family, especially during the holiday seasons.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Mueller; step-children: Michael (Missy) Mueller, Mark (Amanda) Mueller, Michelle Mueller, Steve (Renee) Mueller, Chris (Linda) Mueller; nine grandchildren: Laura, Dan, Matt, Jean, Andrew, Ryan, Kyle, Braeley, Kayla; and great-grandchildren: Iggy, BobbiJean, Sepp, and Elowen. She is further survived by nieces & nephews: Paul (Carol) Steinbrecher, Kevin Quigley, Mira-Jean Steinbrecher, Kay (Steve) Budnik, Jill (Dan) Noack, and Ann (Scott) Kintopf; along with several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Alma Habeck; her first husband, Don Pelnar; and by three sisters and one brother: Grace (Don) Quigley, Charlotte (Claude) Prudome, Adele (Bill) Steinbrecher, and Louis (Ruth) Habeck.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish - Waldo Site, 1121 N. 14th Street, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Arogya Prashanth Gade, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, Tuesday morning from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. There will be no Monday evening visitation.
