The heart that fed the sweetest soul on earth stopped today. Everyone loved Jennie. She had a way of bringing joy and light into every room she entered, but no one felt it more deeply than we did. For 41 years, we had the privilege of being her family, sharing her laughter, her smile, and beautiful moments that made up her life. On February 20th, 2026, she passed into the arms of Christ.

Jennie was born on July 18th, 1984, in Florida to Michael and Sheryl (Sutton) Hoftiezer.

We know our daughter is in glory. That promise comforts us as we miss her more than words can express.

A special thank you to Helping Hands and their incredible staff and clients. You gave Jen a home away from home. Helping hands was a place she looked forward to each day, surrounded by people who truly cared for her.

In honor of Jennie, we will gather to celebrate her life on March 14, 2026, at Hope Community Church. Our family will be present from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., noon, to personally greet those who come to remember her. A service led by Pastor Rick Hines will begin at 12:00 p.m. with a celebration of life to immediately follow in the fellowship hall as we continue to share stories and memories of Jennie together.
