Kathleen M. "Katy" Jacquart, age 95, lifelong resident of Two Rivers, died Wednesday afternoon, February 25, 2026 at Meadow View Assisted Living, surrounded by love of her family.

Katy was born in Two Rivers on March 30, 1930 to Joseph and Sylvia (Stehlik) Baumgart. She attended St. Luke's Catholic School and graduated from Washington High School with the class of 1948. On October 16, 1954 she married Merlin C. Jacquart at St. Luke's Catholic Church. The couple's honeymoon was spent in St. Louis where they got to watch the St. Louis Cardinals. In addition to raising her family, Katy worked for many years (will into her 80's) cleaning various establishments which included the Labor Hall, Lee's Inn, and Rudy's Lanes. Katy was very devoted to her faith throughout her life. She enjoyed singing in the church funeral choir for many years, bowling, and playing cards in several card clubs with friends. Katy always looked forward to time spent with her family, and forever Loved the Babies!

Survivors include her nine children: Ellen (Jeff) Baur, Kent (Terri) Jacquart, Joel Jacquart, Mark "Muzzy" Jacquart, Ned (Barb) Jacquart, Robert Jacquart, Neal (Shellie) Jacquart, Lee (Cherie) Jacquart, and Jason Jacquart; her grandchildren: Lindsey (Aaron), Kory, Bailey (Shane), Carrie (Brett), Carl, Galena (special friend, Kim), Jake, Noah (special friend, Jordanne), Zach, Hannah, Autum (fiance, Lyle), Kyle, Chad (special friend, Hannah), Jacob, Jes, Luke, Alex (Melissa), Ethan (special friend, Mercedes); and her great-grandchildren: Zoey, Bryce, Cameron, Atticus, Abram, Ainsley, Hazel, Emma, Kylie, Mya, Althea, Rosalee, Kadira, Kasen, Aela, and Wilhelmina. She is further survived by two sisters: Jean Zahorik, and Mary (Mike) Siewert; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merlin; an infant son, Karl; one brother, Robert "Butch" Baumgart; one sister, Edna (Allen) Hutterer; and a brother-in-law, Alvin Zahorik.
