Zeman
Feb 18, 1961 — Oct 16, 2026
Two Rivers
Marla Zeman, age 65, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a family who loved her dearly.
Marla was born on February 18, 1961, to the late Harold and Adele (Nelson) Zeman. She attended St. Luke’s Catholic School and Washington High School in Two Rivers, graduating in 1979. Throughout her working years, she was employed in the office at Hamiltons and at Riverside Foods. Along the way, she formed many lifelong friendships that she treasured. She especially enjoyed keeping in touch and getting together with friends for lunch, sharing stories, laughter, and good company.
Marla was known for her bright personality, beautiful smile, and the joy she brought to those around her. She loved shopping, watching sporting events, and spending time with family and friends. Some of her favorite memories were made during gatherings with her sisters and their families. Whether celebrating holidays, sharing stories, or simply enjoying each other’s company, these times together meant so much to her.
An avid sports fan, Marla loved cheering on the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Milwaukee Bucks. However, her favorite athletes were always her grandchildren. She was their biggest fan and took great pride in cheering them on and celebrating their accomplishments. Being a grandma was one of her greatest joys.
Marla is survived by her two daughters, Mandy (Brian) VanWychen and Katie (Tim) Curry; her four beloved grandchildren, Mikayla, Brynley, Addilyn, and Eli; her sisters, Joy (Phil) Dassey and Sherrie (Wayne) Schultz; and her brother-in-law, Steve Slaby. She is further survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many other dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Adele Zeman, and her sister, Kay Lynn Slaby.
