Obituary

Maryann Moore, age 89, longtime Two Rivers resident, passed away early Tuesday morning, December 2, 2025 at the Pete and Jelaine Horton Skilled Nursing Facility in Sturgeon Bay.

Maryann was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on September 6, 1936 to Barth and Mary (Renaldi) Bogetto. She graduated with the class of 1954 from St. Paul's High School in Negaunee, Michigan, then furthered her education at the Badger Business College in Green Bay. On February 11, 1967 she married Thomas W. Moore at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Negaunee, MI. Tom preceded her in death August 3rd, 2018.

Maryann worked as a secretary for Cohodas Brothers Company in Michigan for several years, and later worked in the accounting department for Garot Christman Insurance Co. of Green Bay. After moving to Two Rivers she was employed with BayLakes Eco-Water Systems for 30 years, retiring as the office manager. For many years, Maryann remained very active at her church, St. Peter the Fisherman Parish where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, taught CCD, and was active with the Ladies of St. Peter the Fisherman and the Ladies Honor Guard. She was also a longtime member of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women. In her spare time, Maryann enjoyed traveling, knitting, reading, and watching sports - baseball, football, and basketball. She also enjoyed playing dartball as a longtime member of the Cool City Ladies Dartball League. Above all, she loved spending time with her granddaughter, Jenna.

She is survived by her two daughters & sons-in-law: Kelly and Joe Scheuer of Mishicot, Kathleen and Peter Kerwin of Sturgeon Bay; and her granddaughter, Jenna Engeldinger. She is further survived by five step-grandchildren: Stacy (Patrick) Goehring, Jason Engeldinger (fiance, Courtney Lee), Samantha Kerwin (Mat) Wilson, Emma (Bob) Chaney, and Bennett Kerwin (Abe Ortiz); four step-great grandchildren: Ryland, Eleanor, Reid, and Walker; one sister, Patricia (Robert) Hill of Negaunee; one brother, Anthony Bogetto of Marquette; two brothers-in-law: Ken (Jane) Moore, Tim Moore; and two sisters-in-law: Carol Moore and Karen Townsend; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tom Moore; a son-in-law, Peter Engeldinger; a sister-in-law, Sandra Bogetto; father & mother-in-law: Edward and Iva Moore; and many brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law of the Moore family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd. Two Rivers. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Pleier, with entombment to follow in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. There will be no Tuesday evening visitation.
