Mildred “Millie” G. Stegemann, age 100, longtime resident of Two Rivers, entered eternal life on Wednesday morning, July 15, 2026 at Meadow View Assisted Living of Two Rivers.
Millie was born in Hammond Bay, Michigan on July 1, 1926 to Reginald and Mary (Smith) Flewelling. She graduated high school in Michigan, and on June 28, 1947 married Dale W. Stegemann in Ludington, Michigan. Dale preceded her in death October 2nd, 1992. Millie was a longtime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Two Rivers; she worked for Schwartz Mfg. for 30 years until her retirement; and was a member of the Two Rivers Senior Center, and served on the health board at the Two Rivers Rec Department for many years.
Survivors include her children: Allan Stegemann, Leigh (Judith) Stegemann, and Lisa (Craig) Schuler; her grandchildren: Sara Stegemann (friend, Robert Gronke), Megan Muenzenmeyer Stegemann (husband, Brian), Sam Stegemann (Holly Wery), Erik Stegemann, Tristan Schuler (friend, Claire Bergman), Corey Schuler (friend, Kelsey Hecker), Taylor Schuler; and great-grandchildren: Cole Claudel, Max Muenzenmeyer, Jack Muenzenmeyer, Ben Muenzenmeyer, and Henry Muenzenmeyer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; daughter-in-law, Mary Lawyer Stegemann; and her siblings: Connie (Keith) Watson, Harold (Ruth) Flewelling, Faye Joy (Leonard) Jankowiak, and Reggie (Betty) Flewelling.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2026 at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th Street, Two Rivers. Rev. David Arndt will preside at the memorial service, with burial in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.

The Stegemann family would like to thank everyone who attended Millie’s 100th Birthday party at Meadow View and helped make it a very special occasion. Special thanks also to the wonderful staff at Meadow View who made the past two years very memorable for Millie.
