Rose Marie (“Pep”) Andress, passed away peacefully Monday morning, October 19, 2026, at Complete Care Manitowoc.
Rose Marie was born on March 29, 1934 in Two Rivers, to the late Florian and Mary (Wachowski) Pokorsky. She graduated from Two Rivers High School with the class of 1952. On March 8, 1957, she married Dennis Andress, in Manhattan, Kansas. After a short stay in New Orleans, Rose Marie and Dennis moved to Two Rivers. Dennis preceded her in death on May 8, 2011.
Rose Marie enjoyed working at the Manitowoc Clinic for a few years, but the best job she ever had was making sure that her grandchildren were always well taken care of and happy whenever they were by Grandma. Rose Marie was an avid Packer and football fan who loved life’s simple pleasures; playing bingo, bunco, Skipbo and shopping. She looked forward to dumplings from the Covered Wagon on Thursday’s and of course Pepsi. Rose Marie was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Church and a past member of their lady’s society. She was also a member of the Two Rivers Senior Center.
Survivors include: her son Alan Andress (Margaret Stokes), Manitowoc; daughters Gail Grieger, Cedarburg; Susan (Daniel) Springstube, Two Rivers; and Cathie (Russ) Cook, Magnolia, Texas.
Grandchildren: David Latsch, Patrick Latsch (CJ Badertscher); Jesse Springstube (Brittney Brooks); Kimber Andress (Cotie Brown); Alyssa Stokes (Derek Debina), Evan Stokes and Morgan (Fletcher) Masters; Jeff (Katie) Grieger, Stephanie (Nick) Lehouillier; Shellie (Mike) Giles, and Jeff (Beth) Ebel.
Great-grandchildren: Rose Springstube; Avalei and Liam Debina; Elliot and Charlotte Grieger; Ian and Leo Lehouillier; Bryan Brooks and Haylee Lowe; Logan, Hailey, Luke and Paige Eble.
She is further survived by one sister: Barbara (James) Trainor; one brother: Robert (Barbara) Pokorsky, along with many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her grandson Forest Springstube and son-in-law Jay Grieger, along with many other family members and friends.
She will be remembered as an exceptional mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great- grandmother, aunt and friend whose selfless kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. She was a true angel on earth, and she will be greatly missed by all; but her memory will live on in the stories shared by her children, grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at St. Peter the Fisherman Church, 3201 Mishicot Road, Two Rivers. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00am.
