Theresa (Terri) Elizabeth (Blessinger) Christoffel, 73, of Two Rivers, WI passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026.
Terri was born November 14, 1952 in Racine, WI, daughter of the late John and Virginia (DeGroot) Blessinger.
She was a graduate of St Catherines High School, Racine, WI, then furthered her education, graduating from Viterbo College in La Crosse, WI, where she earned a degree in Education. She began teaching at St Gregory's in St Nazianz, St Boniface in Manitowoc, and then Two Rivers Catholic Central School (TRCCS). After many years of teaching, she pursued a degree in Accounting from LTI (now Lakeshore College). She then worked at Federal Mogul for another 20 plus years.
Terri married Joseph Christoffel on March 12th, 1974 in Racine, WI. They were blessed with 3 children and 9 grandchildren. Becki Christoffel (Maddie Backhaus), Robert and Ashley Christoffel (Joseph, Amaya, Charlotte, Nicholas), and Sandra Christoffel-Brewer and Mike Brewer (Jocelyn, Kirsten, Logan).
Terri enjoyed local activities of Monday pool league, Wednesday dartball, and Thursday Kellnersville Bean Bags. Terri volunteered as a judge and tabulator for Greg and Cindy Comstock of the Rollaire Speed Team across state and national meets. Terri would also help with timing and results of the Roncalli High School Cross Country meets. In recent years, she enjoyed various arts and crafts that she would personalize for kids and grandchildren or donate to the Eagles Club.
She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary of Two Rivers/Manitowoc for over 50 years holding all elective positions at the local level along with chairman of local charities. Terri was also elected as a state officer and state trustee with additional volunteering as chairman of charities at the state level. During her time with the Eagles Auxiliary Terri has earned the Distinguished Service Citation award as well as honored with an induction into the WI Hall of Fame.
Terri is further survived by two sisters: Virginia Kroll and Cecelia Hoffman; one sister-in-law, Constance Shimanek; and a close nephew, Tom Shimanek; sister-in-law, Sally Blessinger; along with many other nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; father & mother-in-law: Roland “Ozzie” and Amelia “Gretchen” Christoffel; grandson, Bryan Robert Christoffel; two brothers: Dennis Blessinger and Johnny Blessinger; brother-in-law, Darrell Hoffman; and a nephew, George Hoffman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2026 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Dave Pleier, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Friends may call at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th Street, Two Rivers, Sunday, March 1st from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. A memorial service led by the Eagles Auxiliary will conclude the visitation at 4:00 p.m.
Visitation will continue Monday morning at the church after 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m.
